Why it might feel familiar

A standard, a crew and a territory

We honor the service. So here is what we hand you: the standard, the territory, the software, and people whose job is to help you get it running.

  • She is stricter than your drill sergeant

Room by room, what finished means is written down before your first booking. You have stood an inspection before — this time you are the one calling it.

  • You lead the crew. You don't mop.

You hire the people and hold the line on the standard. The checklist tells a new hire when a room is done, so you are not the only one who knows.

  • Ground that is yours to hold

One owner per area, yours from day one, with marketing running in your zip codes instead of you fighting for a foothold.

  • The phone gets answered

Calls you miss get answered, priced and booked while you are on a job. Texts and web chat too. That is the system, not an add-on.

Eligibility

Who qualifies, and where it says so

The discount is for U.S. military veterans, and the eligibility terms are set out in our Franchise Disclosure Document — which you receive during the review, well before any decision. If you are not sure whether your service qualifies, ask on the first call rather than assuming it either way.

It moves the setup fee and nothing else. Additional startup costs apply, total liquid capital of $13,000 is required, and ongoing fees stay tied to the work we send you.

Common questions

What veterans ask

Does M.I.L. Cleaners offer a veteran discount?

Yes. Veterans take 50% off the one-time setup fee, so it is $4,999 instead of $9,999. The discount is disclosed in our Franchise Disclosure Document, and the eligibility terms are stated there. Additional startup costs apply, and the discount does not change the ongoing fees, which are tied to the work M.I.L. Cleaners sends you.

Who is eligible for the veteran discount?

U.S. military veterans. The eligibility terms are set out in the Franchise Disclosure Document you receive during the review, so ask on the first call rather than assuming your service does or does not count. The document arrives well before any decision is made, and you should read it with advisers who represent you.

Is the discounted setup fee the total cost to open?

No. $4,999 is the setup fee after the discount, not the total cost of opening or operating a business. Additional startup costs apply: insurance, supplies, equipment, a vehicle, state registrations and working cash stay yours to plan, and they vary by state. Total liquid capital of $13,000 is required.

Does the veteran discount change the ongoing fees?

No. It applies to the one-time setup fee only. Ongoing fees are tied to the work M.I.L. Cleaners sends you rather than to a percentage of everything you do under the brand, and the schedule is an Item 6 disclosure that lives in the Franchise Disclosure Document. The team goes through it with you before anything is signed.

Do I need cleaning experience to use the discount?

No. No cleaning experience is required, with or without the discount. You get the training, the pricing system and the room-by-room checklists, and you hire the crew rather than clean yourself. What the business asks for is local hiring, customer response and running a schedule in one protected territory.

When do I pay the setup fee?

After your first job, not before it. That is the same for every owner; the veteran discount changes the amount, not the timing. Nothing is agreed on a call, and you receive the Franchise Disclosure Document and time to read it with your own advisers before any decision is made.

Half the fee. All of the territory.

Tell us where you are and we will tell you what is open, what it costs with the discount applied, and what the documents say. Nothing is agreed on a call.
